The UCL200 Laws LLM Academic Excellence Scholarship supports high-achieving applicants joining the full-time Master of Laws at UCL Faculty of Laws. Recipients study in person in London on the 10-month LLM.
The award is based on academic excellence rather than financial need. Applications for 2026–27 are closed, and UCL says information for the next cycle will be published later.

Eligibility
- Apply for the full-time UCL LLM for 2026–27 entry and submit a complete degree application, including the reference and all supporting documents, by 17 December 2025.
- Show outstanding prior academic achievement, usually a high first-class degree or equivalent, and exceptional potential to excel on the LLM.
- Applicants normally need a recognised law qualification; in very rare cases, applicants without a law degree may be considered if they have at least five years of relevant professional experience.
- UCL publishes no nationality, residency, age or gender restriction for this scholarship.
