The Schweizerische Studienstiftung funds students it already supports who study humanities or social sciences at a Swiss university. The scholarship pays a fixed monthly amount for one year so a scholar can concentrate on study rather than paid work.
The foundation awards three of these scholarships each year. Support past the first year is possible but not guaranteed.
Only students inside the foundation’s support program may apply, so the real entry point is admission to the foundation itself.
