Sustainable Biomass and Bioproducts Engineering is a 120-ECTS joint master coordinated by Wrocław University of Science and Technology with partner universities in Spain and Finland. The two-year programme trains students in chemical engineering, biomass conversion, bioprocessing and sustainable bioproduct design.
Students study first in Wroclaw, then in Ciudad Real and Lappeenranta, before completing a master project. The programme awards master’s degrees from the three partner institutions and an SBBE certificate.

Eligibility
- Applicants may be European or non-European and must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in chemical, environmental or mechanical engineering, or a related field that qualifies them for master’s study where the degree was completed.
- Final-year bachelor’s students may apply with a university letter stating the expected graduation date and a detailed transcript.
- Applicants must demonstrate at least CEFR B2 English through prior English-medium education or accepted evidence; the published examples include TOEFL iBT 72 and IELTS 5.5, with exemptions for nationals of the United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand and Australia.
- Holders of diplomas issued outside the EU, EFTA and OECD must obtain an individual NAWA recognition statement, except holders of IB or EB diplomas.
