PEL 2027 brings high-school students from across Europe together to simulate EU lawmaking, Council negotiations and debates. Let’s promote Europe (LPE) runs the project.
Participants prepare online in multilingual groups, then meet at the European Parliament in Strasbourg from 21–23 June 2027.
Benefits & funding
- Participation costs €307.16 per student: €81.23 base, €173.22 shared accommodation with half board, and €52.71 lunches.
- Strasbourg-school students do not pay the accommodation fee.
- Schools arrange travel to and from Strasbourg; LPE arranges the program, accommodation and on-site meals.
- Active participants receive a certificate; inactivity may forfeit it.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be students aged 15–18.
- Their school must be selected for PEL 2027.
- They need C1 in at least one project language—German, English or French—and A2/B1 in another; no certificate is required.

Application process
- 1A school applies first; only accepted schools can put forward student applicants.
- 2Eligible students submit by 27 October 2026 at 23:59.
- 3LPE evaluates forms anonymously and announces selected students by 3 November.
- 4Selected schools confirm places from 3–12 November; students then provide follow-up information and preferences.
