Benefits & funding

• 12 or 13 Erasmus Mundus scholarships are awarded per edition, with a cap of 50 scholarships across the programme’s four editions.
• A scholarship pays 1,400 EUR per month for 24 months and covers tuition, travel, visa, installation and subsistence costs.
• Payments are wired monthly to the student’s bank account once the Student Agreement is signed; the Consortium Management Board checks attendance and academic obligations each month before approving a payout.
• Graduates receive three diplomas and diploma supplements, issued by the University of Belgrade, LUMSA University and Örebro University.
• Örebro University guarantees campus housing to LAWGID students whose housing applications are correct and on time.
• Enrolled students with certified long-term impairments, scholarship holders and self-funded students alike, can request disability support.
• Self-funded students pay an application fee set by their partner university plus the tuition fee fixed for each edition under the consortium’s joint fee policy; the site does not publish the amounts.

Eligibility

• A bachelor’s degree of 180 ECTS (three-year programme) or 240 ECTS (four-year programme), or integrated academic studies amounting to a master’s degree of at least 300 ECTS.
• Final-year bachelor students may apply if they graduate before the programme starts.
• No minimum grade or minimum marks is required for admission.
• English at upper-intermediate level (B2), evidenced by an internationally recognised test certificate, a Swedish upper-secondary certificate in English 6 / English level 2 / English B at B2 standard, or a certificate of high school education completed in English.
• Every document must be submitted as a digital copy in English, either the original or an authorised translation, and includes proof of citizenship.
• The programme publishes no nationality, residency, age, gender or work-experience requirement.

Application process

   Register and apply through the common LAWGID online platform, completing the LAWGID Programme Application Form.

   Upload the diploma and diploma supplement (or transcript or temporary certificate), a passport copy as proof of citizenship, a CV, a motivation letter of at most one A4 page, two recommendation letters with referee contact details, and the B2 English evidence.

   The three partner universities check eligibility, then score each eligible application out of 100 points.

   The 30 highest-ranked scholarship applicants are invited to an online video interview.

   The LAWGID Admission and Selection Committee makes the final selection; an appeal procedure is open to applicants, after which EACEA confirms the scholarship list and enrolment follows.

   Self-funded candidates enrol through a separate call announced after the scholarship results; in 2026 it ran from 15 to 25 June.

   Third semester starts at Örebro, running to 16 January 2028.
