Official Page

The Lazord Fellowship is a year-long professional and civic-development program run by the Lazord Foundation with local chapter partners. Fellows work full-time in locally based nonprofit or for-profit organizations serving the common good.

The program combines practical placement with continuing education, mentoring, and regional networking. Current chapters operate in Egypt, Greece, Jordan, and Tunisia.

Benefits & funding

  • A one-year placement in a local organization, scheduled four days per week on the Egypt chapter page.
  • A living stipend based on local costs; the amount is disclosed to selected fellows during orientation.
  • At least 18 training sessions and monthly mentoring through the Egypt chapter.
  • Health insurance for Egypt-based fellows.
  • A monthly housing allowance or accommodation for Egypt fellows who are not based in Cairo.
  • Regional networking and international opening and closing conferences.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be recent university graduates; the Egypt and Jordan chapter pages for the 2026–2027 cycle specify graduation in 2024 or later.
  • Applicants must be able to commit to the full-time, one-year program and attend the October 2026 international conference.
  • Applications are chapter-specific. The Jordan call states an age range of 21–27; the fetched Egypt page does not publish the same age gate, so it is not treated as a universal program limit.
  • For the Egypt route, Egyptian male applicants must identify completed or exempt military-service status. Refugee applicants must provide proof of residency and a passport copy.
  • The fetched official pages do not publish one universal nationality or residency list for all four chapters; applicants should verify the local form for their chapter.
