UST’s International Admission for 2027 Spring Semester recruits graduate researchers for master’s, integrated and doctoral study in South Korea. UST uses 30 government-funded research institutes as its Schools and offers 44 multidisciplinary science and technology majors.
Students study and conduct research at their selected UST School. The intake is full-time, with academic and research activities normally running Monday through Friday.
Benefits & funding
- UST lists tuition at KRW 2,500,000 per semester for master’s, doctoral and integrated courses.
- The minimum monthly financial-support standard before deductions is KRW 1,430,000 for master’s students and KRW 1,900,000 for doctoral students, effective through February 29, 2028.
- The minimum study period is two years for master’s and doctoral programs and four years for the integrated program.
Eligibility
- The standard foreign-national route requires the applicant and both parents to hold foreign citizenship.
- Master’s and integrated applicants need a bachelor’s degree or an accepted equivalent; doctoral applicants need a master’s degree or an accepted equivalent.
- Applicants must meet the official language requirement applicable to their selected School or major.
- A separate overseas-Korean route is available to applicants who completed their entire elementary, secondary and university education abroad and meet the degree and language requirements.
- Admitted students must participate full-time in academic and research activities.
