The Global Case Competition is an annual social-impact case competition run by 180 Degrees Consulting. Full-time students form teams to solve a real problem for a nonprofit case partner through several written and live rounds.
The 2026 edition is tentatively scheduled from September through December. The current program page links separate applications for teams representing 180DC and teams outside the network, while allowing cross-university teams.
Benefits & funding
- The tentative winner package includes cash prizes, with the total pool still unannounced.

- Some winners may receive fast-tracked recruitment for the 180DC Global Leadership Team, priority access to a Future Leaders Program and projects sourced by that team, subject to terms.
- These are winner benefits rather than full participation funding.
Eligibility
- Every team member must be enrolled in a full-time educational degree or program when applying.
- Applicants must be under 28 on the application date.
- Each team must have three or four students; cross-university teams are allowed.
- The program is presented to students worldwide and states no nationality, residence, gender or work-experience restriction.
