Changemakers for Youth is run by ChangemakerXchange, an international non-profit, with support from Drosos Foundation. Over three years it backs 80 young social entrepreneurs whose ventures build the agency and skills of young people.
Each cohort trains online, meets at a five-day in-person summit (the second cohort’s is in Morocco) and can seek seed funding for cross-border projects. Applications are open for the second cohort, which starts in February 2027.
Benefits & funding
- Online, needs-based capacity building and three check-in calls.
- Accommodation, meals, local transport and materials at the five-day summit are covered; attending every day is required.
- Travel and visa costs are generally the participant’s own; a travel stipend can be requested, assessed case by case and subject to funds.
- Seed funding for cross-border projects with fellow participants.
- Lifelong membership of the ChangemakerXchange community.
Eligibility
- Aged 18–35.
- Live, work in and create impact in Egypt, Germany, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Switzerland or Tunisia (application section: permanently live, work in and create impact; FAQ: currently live and/or have impact).
