DREAM is a two-year Erasmus Mundus joint master’s programme coordinated by École Centrale de Nantes. It trains Bachelor’s graduates in power systems, smart grids, renewable generation, automatic control and power electronics.
Students study in person and indicate mobility preferences for their second and third semesters. The official site states that there will be no recruitment for the 2026–2028 intake and gives no next opening date.
Benefits & funding
- Erasmus Mundus scholarship holders receive €1,400 per month for 24 months toward travel, visa, installation and subsistence costs, and their tuition fees are waived.
- For the 2025–2027 edition, the programme expected 26 Erasmus Mundus scholarships.
- Consortium scholarships reduce total tuition by €4,000 or €2,000 for Programme-country students and by €7,000 or €3,500 for Partner-country students, with four awards at each amount.
- Self-funded tuition is €9,000 for Programme-country students and €18,000 for Partner-country students over two years; books, accommodation, meals and some nationally required fees are excluded.
Eligibility
- Applicants must hold, or complete by the stated graduation cut-off, a Bachelor of Science-level first degree equivalent to 180 ECTS after at least three years of study.
- Eligible fields are power systems, smart grids, renewable generation, automatic control and power electronics.
- Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through an accepted test, unless eligible to use an official university letter confirming English-medium study.
- The programme and Erasmus Mundus scholarship are open to applicants from all countries.

- 2Upload a CV, identity document, certified degrees and transcripts with English translations, the mandatory motivation-letter template, English evidence, mobility preferences and recent proof of residence.
- 3Review the application and submit it by the published deadline; a saved but unsubmitted application is not processed.
- 4If pre-selected, submit a five-minute project video; shortlisted candidates then complete an online interview before the final ranking.
