WAVES (Waves, Acoustics, Vibrations, Engineering and Sound) is a two-year Erasmus Mundus joint master’s in acoustical engineering, taught in English by a four-university consortium coordinated by Aix-Marseille University.
Students spend semester 1 in Coimbra, semester 2 in Gandia (near Valencia) and semester 3 in Marseille, then write a thesis during a fourth-semester internship with a partner anywhere in the world. The consortium chose not to recruit a 2026–2028 cohort.
