EMMIE is an 18-month, 90-ECTS joint master in impact entrepreneurship delivered by three European business schools. Students study in person in Zagreb, then Vilnius, and finally Liège.
The program develops management, innovation and entrepreneurship skills for projects intended to contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The University of Liège coordinates the consortium, and successful students receive degrees from the three partner institutions plus a joint certificate.
Benefits & funding
- The Erasmus Mundus grant waives the €13,500 participation cost, including registration, management, health and accident insurance, university infrastructure access and administrative assistance.
- Scholarship holders receive €1,400 per month for up to 18 months as a contribution to travel, subsistence and installation costs.
- Self-funded students may request a partial fee reduction based on financial need and academic merit.
- Applicants who previously received an EMJM or Erasmus Mundus Master Course scholarship may join EMMIE but cannot receive the Erasmus+ scholarship again.
Eligibility
- Applicants of every nationality and academic discipline are eligible.
- The standard route requires a completed undergraduate degree totaling at least 240 ECTS; the FAQ says final-year applicants may use the self-funded route, while scholarship candidates must have completed their degree before applying.
- Applicants must attend in person for the full 18 months in Croatia, Lithuania and Belgium.
- English proficiency of at least B2 is required unless a completed university degree was taught fully in English.
- A valid passport is required; no professional-experience minimum or age limit is published.

Application process
