Connect & Create # Professional Mobility 2027 supports organizations and international events in Sub-Saharan Africa and the European Union that host delegations of performing arts and music professionals. The call is part of the EU-funded Africa–Europe Partnerships for Culture program, led by the Goethe-Institut and Expertise France in partnership with Institut français.
Selected projects organize professional programs within international events, combining activities such as training, scene discovery, conferences, networking, and B2B meetings. The mobility may run to Europe, to Sub-Saharan Africa, or across both regions between February and December 2027.
Benefits & funding
- The grant may cover international, national, and local economy-class transport, visas and insurance, accommodation and per diem, and translation.
- Support is capped at 70% of the total project budget; applicants must provide at least 30% co-financing in cash or in kind.
Eligibility
- The call targets organizations and international events in the 48 countries of Sub-Saharan Africa or the 27 European Union Member States.
- Each delegation must include at least eight cultural professionals aged 18 or older from those eligible countries; artists are excluded.
- Delegations of 8–10 people must include at least five nationalities, while larger delegations must include at least eight nationalities.
- Eligible profiles include event organizers, programmers, producers, agents, network coordinators, company and festival representatives, and technical, communications, or public-relations managers.
- Mobility to Europe supports African professionals only; mobility to Sub-Saharan Africa may support African and European professionals.
- Programs may be embedded in festivals, professional markets, trade fairs, conventions, seminars, symposiums, workshops, or professional meetings.
