The Youth Platform on Loss and Damage is an ICCCAD capacity-building initiative for youth and children working on climate-induced loss and damage. ICCCAD says it launched at COP27 and connects participants with researchers, specialists, policy actors, and negotiators.
The platform combines workshops, advocacy, national and international dialogue, and learning about climate politics, UNFCCC mechanisms, and access to loss-and-damage funds. Its concept note describes negotiator and practitioner tracks intended to turn knowledge into action.
