World Vision International runs 13-week spring and summer internships across humanitarian, development, advocacy, finance, technology, communications and related functions. The Spring 2027 cohort runs from January 25 to April 23, followed by a Summer 2027 cohort from June 1 to August 27.
Most opportunities are remote within eligible U.S. states, while individual vacancies may require in-person work; a current Corporate Services role is based in Monrovia, California. Interns complete practical assignments and join weekly professional-development sessions covering areas such as networking and career coaching.
Benefits & funding
- Internships are unpaid, but U.S.-based interns receive an $800 monthly stipend for internship-related expenses.

- World Vision does not currently provide electronic equipment; interns use their own devices and must permit installation of required endpoint-security software.
- School credit is possible when the participant’s university signs a memorandum of understanding with World Vision.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be at least 18 and be current students or graduates of an undergraduate or graduate program within the previous two years.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; U.S. citizens, permanent residents and F-1 students with valid work authorization may qualify. Current vacancies also require a valid U.S. Social Security number.
- Remote interns must be physically based in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia or Washington.
- Applicants must be able to work the hours stated for their vacancy throughout the cohort; current Spring 2027 roles offer 20–40 hours per week.
- Applicants must adhere to World Vision International’s Christian Statement of Faith and use their own electronic devices with required security software.
