Women in Finance and Tech Bachelor Scholarship — Bachelor's Scholarship

The Women in Finance and Tech Bachelor Scholarship is an annual entrance award from BI Norwegian Business School. It supports academically strong female applicants entering the Bachelor in Finance or Bachelor in Data Science for Business in Norway.

The published cycle applies to programmes beginning in Autumn 2026 and is now between cycles. Study takes place in person, with eligible programme routes available across BI’s campuses in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim, and Stavanger.

Benefits & funding

Full tuition fees for up to three years; living costs are not listed as covered.
A maximum of six scholarships may be awarded.
Continued funding requires 30 ECTS each semester and a cumulative grade average of at least B on BI’s ECTS scale after every semester.
Recipients must be prepared to serve as BI Ambassadors in recruitment and student-environment activities.

Eligibility

Female candidates of any citizenship may apply; there is no nationality restriction.
Applicants must seek their first bachelor’s degree and receive admission to the Bachelor in Finance or Bachelor in Data Science for Business beginning in Autumn 2026.
Selection is based on strong academic performance rather than financial need.
The scholarship application is considered only with a complete admission application and the required supporting documents.

Application process

Apply for admission to an eligible bachelor’s programme through BI’s online application portal.

At the same time, prepare a CV and a scholarship letter of no more than one page explaining why the applicant should be considered.

Combine the CV and letter in one PDF and upload it in the Scholarship section of the admission application.

Submit all required admission documents with the application; BI does not accept scholarship applications by email or additional scholarship documents after submission.
