The Vodafone Group Foundation - The Sir Christopher Gent Awards support applicants to the London Business School MBA. Each award is worth £20,000, with up to four awards available.

Applicants join the in-person MBA in London, which offers exit points after 15, 18 or 21 months. The scholarship targets candidates with technology or digital backgrounds and skills, with a stated preference for those planning to move into IT, telecommunications or digital work.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must apply to the London Business School MBA in Round 1, 2 or 3.
  • Candidates must have a technology or digital background and relevant skills.
  • Preference is given to candidates seeking to move into IT, telecommunications or digital work; this is a preference, not a separate hard eligibility gate.
  • The scholarship page publishes no nationality, residency, gender or age restriction.
  • Applicants with a degree submit university transcripts through the MBA application; non-graduates with an excellent career record may also be considered.

Application process

    Start the London Business School MBA application through the official online application form.

    Prepare the MBA materials, including the application essays, one-page CV, referee details, GMAT or GRE score, university transcripts and proof of English ability when required.

    Submit the MBA application in Round 1, 2 or 3; eligible candidates are considered automatically for the scholarship.

    If selected for the MBA interview stage, complete the interview and await the admissions and scholarship decisions.

  2. MBA Round 1, 2 or 3

    Submit the complete MBA application by the chosen round’s deadline for automatic scholarship consideration.

  3. After submission

    Selected MBA applicants are invited to interview before the final admissions decision.

  4. The MBA intake begins in London.
