Ukrainian Brain Bee is the country’s official route into the International Brain Bee and has operated since 2012. The two-stage competition tests neuroscience knowledge through online preliminary testing and a final. The published 2026 cycle has concluded, and the national champions page lists Anastasiia Merkulenko as the 2026 champion.
The official site lists Andrii Cherninskyi as national coordinator and says organizers and judges come from leading universities and research institutes in Kyiv. Top participants advance to the final, and the winner represents Ukraine at the international competition.
