Global Health Corps runs the U.S. Leadership Accelerator for emerging, non-clinical public health professionals who live and work in the United States. Fellows complete leadership training, coaching, and peer learning while remaining in their current full-time roles.
The nine-month hybrid program combines monthly virtual learning with two national in-person retreats. The 2026–2027 cycle is closed, and applications for the 2027–2028 cohort will open in February 2027.
Benefits & funding
- No tuition or direct program cost for fellows.
- GHC covers program costs, including travel to retreat locations, lodging, and meals for the two in-person retreats.
- Fellows receive monthly workshops, small-group learning, a 360-degree assessment, one-to-one executive coaching, mentorship, and access to GHC’s lifelong global network.
Eligibility
- Be 21–30 years old on September 1, 2026 for the latest published cycle.
- Live in the United States full-time and be authorized to work there.
- Work full-time in a U.S.-focused, non-clinical public health role.
- Have worked in the current role for at least three months when applying.
- No specific education or training credential is required.
- Applicants may work in person, remotely, or in a hybrid arrangement, but all fellowship components are mandatory.

Application process
- 1When applications reopen, review the current cycle’s eligibility requirements and complete the online application.
- 2Complete Part 1 with eligibility, employment, and demographic information, plus a supervisor’s contact details.
- 3After submitting Part 1, use the emailed Part 2 link to submit three short essays and one video response of no more than 60 seconds.
- 4Ask the supervisor to complete the short recommendation form sent by GHC; no recommendation letter is required.
- 5If selected as a finalist, complete an interview and await the final decision.
