The U of T Indigenous Tuition Grant is administered by the University of Toronto for eligible students from nine identified First Nations communities. It covers tuition in approved undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs.
Rotman’s Full-Time MBA is an eligible OSAP-approved professional graduate program delivered in person in Toronto. The MBA runs for 20 months, including 16 months of academic study and an opportunity for a four-month paid internship.
Benefits & funding
- The grant covers the total tuition charged for the eligible program and all sessions in which tuition is assessed.
- Ancillary fees and other program-specific costs are not covered.
- The grant is renewable for each year of eligible registration and may be combined with other University of Toronto funding.
- After the applicant’s First Nation confirms membership, funds are applied per term to the student’s ACORN account; eligible tuition already paid by the student may be refunded.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be members of Alderville First Nation, Curve Lake First Nation, Hiawatha First Nation, Nation Huronne-Wendat/Huron-Wendat First Nation, Mississauga First Nation, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation, Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte (Tyendinaga Mohawk), or Six Nations of the Grand River.
- Applicants must be continuously enrolled full-time or part-time in an OSAP-approved, credit-based University of Toronto program for which tuition is paid to the university; Rotman’s Full-Time MBA is eligible.
- Applicants do not need to receive OSAP or live on a reserve.
- The University of Toronto verifies membership with the applicant’s First Nation community.

Application process
