The Tsinghua-Princeton-CI Summer School on Combustion is an annual teaching program held by the Center for Combustion Energy at Tsinghua University. It builds knowledge in reacting-flow fluid mechanics and chemical kinetics for energy and environmental applications.

The 2026 cycle brought participants to Beijing for six course options covering combustion theory, chemistry, diagnostics, plasma-assisted combustion, molecular simulation, and AI. Its intended audience was graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, university faculty, research-organization combustion professionals, and industry R&D engineers.

Benefits & funding

  • Five days of classes ran from July 6 to July 10, 2026, with six course options divided between morning and afternoon sessions.
  • Registration cost RMB 2,200 for students and RMB 2,500 for all other participants.
