The AISTS Olympian Scholarship

Master's ScholarshipSwitzerland · Lausanne

International Academy of Sport Science and Technology (AISTS)

Application Deadline

November 30, 2026

The Olympian Scholarship pays the entire tuition fee of the Master of Advanced Studies in Sport Management and Technology at AISTS in Lausanne. It is open only to athletes who have competed at the Olympic Games or the Olympic Winter Games at least once.

AISTS is a not-for-profit association founded in 2000 by the International Olympic Committee together with EPFL, the University of Lausanne, the University of Geneva, IMD, EHL, the City of Lausanne and the Canton of Vaud. EPFL, the University of Lausanne and the University of Geneva co-sign the degree. The master runs 15 months full-time: an academic phase in Lausanne from late September to early May, then applied projects and professional experience through to December.

AISTS launched the award in May 2025 and gave the first one to Abeer Essawy, an Egyptian taekwondo athlete from the 2004 Athens Games. The current round funds the 2027-2028 edition and closes on 30 November 2026 at 23:59 CET.
