The TDRA – ICT Fund Scholarship Program is UAEU’s route into the ICT Fund’s BETHA Program for bachelor’s and master’s study. It supports eligible UAE nationals admitted to ICT-related majors in UAEU’s engineering and information technology colleges.
TDRA lists computer engineering, electronic engineering, computer science, information technology, and related specializations among the program’s fields. Fall 2026 registration is closed, and TDRA identifies Spring 2027 as the upcoming registration cycle without publishing an opening date.
Benefits & funding
- ICT Fund provides scholarship sponsorship for approved bachelor’s and master’s study.
- A monthly allowance is available on the master’s route, but an employed master’s student receives no monthly allowance.
- The current degree pages do not publish an allowance amount or a detailed list of covered costs.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be nationals of the United Arab Emirates and apply to a telecommunications or information technology specialization.
- Bachelor’s applicants need full university admission without a foundation or preparatory program, at least 75% in secondary school, graduation within the previous three years, and no current employment.
- New bachelor’s applicants need one of these minimum English scores: IELTS 6.0, EmSAT 1430, TOEFL 510, or SAT 480; continuing bachelor’s students need CGPA and term GPA of at least 2.8 after completing 12 credits.
- Master’s applicants need a bachelor’s GPA of at least 3.0; continuing master’s students need CGPA and term GPA of at least 3.0 after completing nine credits.
- Engineering and IT management master’s routes also require an ICT-related bachelor’s degree and an official employer recommendation letter.
- Applicants cannot hold another scholarship or financial award; male applicants must provide the specified National Service no-objection or clearance document.
