The TDR Postgraduate Scholarship in Implementation Research supports a two-year Master of Public Health at ISED-UCAD in Dakar, taught in French. The programme trains researchers to study how health interventions can be implemented more effectively in low- and middle-income settings.
The 2025–2027 call focused on epidemics, diseases of poverty, climate-related health impacts and antimicrobial resistance through a One Health approach. Campus teaching takes place in Dakar, while recipients complete their thesis projects in their home countries.

Eligibility
- Hold at least a bachelor’s degree.
- Be 37 or younger.
- Be both a national and resident of Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Chad, Republic of the Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Guinea, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal or Togo.
- Be employed by a university or research institution, nonprofit organization, health ministry or WHO agency in one of the eligible countries.
- Be able to identify a local supervisor or mentor before the programme starts.
- Have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data-analysis software.
