Official Page

The Stockholm Trio Scholarship supports fee-paying students pursuing an eligible joint master’s programme in Stockholm. It is jointly funded by KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Karolinska Institutet and Stockholm University.

The eligible programmes are Molecular Techniques in Life Science and Biostatistics and Data Science. Both are two-year, campus-based programmes delivered across the three universities.

Benefits & funding

  • Covers the full tuition fee for the first and second year, subject to satisfactory first-year study results.
  • Does not cover living costs.

Eligibility

  • Be classified as a fee-paying student; applicants outside the EU, EEA and Switzerland usually pay fees, but official exemptions mean citizenship alone does not determine eligibility.
  • Apply to Molecular Techniques in Life Science or Biostatistics and Data Science as the first priority through University Admissions and pay the application fee.
  • Meet the admission requirements for the selected master’s programme.
  • The scholarship application requires no additional documents.
