The International Excellence Entrance Scholarship is a one-time entrance award administered by Simon Fraser University. It supports incoming international students moving from secondary school into selected SFU undergraduate programs in Canada for the fall term.
SFU determines the eligible geographic regions and priority programs annually but does not publish the current lists on the scholarship pages. No separate scholarship application is required because consideration is automatic.

Eligibility
- Be an international undergraduate student entering SFU from secondary school in the fall term.
- Come from one of the geographic regions SFU selects for that admission year — a hard requirement, not a preference.
- SFU does not publish the list of selected regions anywhere on its scholarship, regulations, admission or FAQ pages, so no country is confirmed in or out; email Financial Aid and Awards (fiassist@sfu.ca) to check your country for the cycle you are applying to.
- Enter a program that SFU designates as a priority in its annual enrolment plan; the official page does not list those programs.
- Achieve a final average of at least 90% or 31 International Baccalaureate points, excluding bonus points, in courses required for the primary program.
- Enrol in at least 12 SFU standard graded units in the first term and retain international-student status through payment.
