Saudi Arabia Brain Bee — Course / Training

Saudi Arabia Brain Bee is a national neuroscience competition for secondary school students and is part of the International Brain Bee network. Its first edition is a supervised, single-round, in-person event at a Saudi university that has not yet been named.

Registration is free and currently accepting responses for the August 2026 national championship. The national champion will represent Saudi Arabia at the online International Brain Bee World Championship in November 2026.

Benefits & funding

Registration is free of charge.
The national champion receives the title and an official in-person certificate, then represents Saudi Arabia at the IBB World Championship.
Second- and third-place finishers receive official in-person achievement certificates.
Every participant receives an official digital participation certificate.

Eligibility

Applicants must be secondary school students aged 13–18.
Applicants must be enrolled in a school in Saudi Arabia; all school systems are accepted, and no nationality restriction is stated.
Basic English proficiency is required because the competition is conducted in English.
No prior neuroscience background is required.
