The Radboud Scholarship Programme is a very selective award paid from Radboud University’s Profiling Fund in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
It lets talented students from outside the EU/EEA take a complete English-taught Master’s at a strongly reduced tuition fee. For 2027/2028 up to 26 awards are split across six faculties; each faculty’s committee picks its own recipients.
Benefits & funding
- Tuition reduced to €2,771 a year (amount to be confirmed) instead of about €19,000, depending on the programme.
- Visa, residence permit, health and liability insurance costs covered.
- Runs for the nominal length of the Master’s; in two-year programmes, all first-year courses must be passed to keep it.
- Living and study costs are not covered.
- Can be combined with the €5,000 NL Scholarship.
Eligibility
- Non-EU/non-EEA passport, and not eligible for the lower EU/EEA tuition fee on any other ground.
- A Bachelor’s degree (held or in progress) earned outside the Netherlands; no Dutch degree and no earlier education in the Netherlands (exchange inside the foreign Bachelor’s excepted).
- Full admission to an English-taught Master’s starting 1 September 2027; Erasmus Mundus and joint-degree programmes are excluded.
- The programme’s English-language requirement met.
- Able to meet Dutch visa conditions and enrol full-time.

Application process
- 1Apply for the Master’s in OSIRIS Application and indicate the Radboud Scholarship there.
- 2Upload two reference letters (preferably academic) and a CV; submit by 31 January 2027, 23:59 CET.
- 3Pay the non-refundable €100 application fee charged to applicants with international previous education.
- 4Make the application complete by 14 February 2027, 23:59 CET; incomplete files are not considered.
- 5The faculty’s committee selects; some programmes hold interviews.
