The Qalaa Holdings Scholarship Foundation, established in 2007 and funded through a Qalaa Holdings endowment, supports master’s study abroad. The annual scholarship covers full-time, on-campus programs at universities outside Egypt in all academic fields except medicine, pharmacy and biosciences.
Recipients must return to work in Egypt for at least two years after completing their degree.

- Tuition funding is capped at USD 50,000 per year.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be Egyptian nationals residing in Egypt and under age 35.
- At least two years of work experience after graduation is required.
- Applicants must have acceptance for a full-time, on-campus master’s program starting in the fall at a leading university outside Egypt; PhD study and support for a master’s degree already underway are excluded.
- The acceptance must be unconditional except for a funding condition; language conditions are not accepted.
- Applicants need excellent command of the language of study, good English, genuine financial need and no other partial scholarship or grant except a waiver from the chosen university.
- Graduates must return to work in Egypt for at least two years; male applicants must have clear military-service status.

Application process
- 1Apply to one overseas university for the following fall and obtain an eligible acceptance letter.
- 2Complete the Qalaa Holdings Scholarship form and prepare the university acceptance, the submitted university application, an updated CV, two references and, for male applicants, a military certificate.
- 3Send one package once, by postal mail or the Foundation’s FedEx arrangement; hand delivery and electronic submission are not accepted.
- 4Wait one week after dispatch, then email the Foundation if confirmation of delivery is needed.
