Public Service Scholarship — Master's Scholarship

The Public Service Scholarship is a merit-based tuition award from the NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. It supports selected applicants across Wagner degree programs and areas of interest.

Applicants join their chosen Wagner program in New York or online, depending on the degree. Scholarship review is integrated into admission and does not require an extra essay.

Benefits & funding

Selected recipients receive either a partial-tuition or half-tuition scholarship.
Unless an award letter states otherwise, Wagner scholarships cover tuition only and generally exclude registration fees, health insurance, and other expenses.

Eligibility

Full-time and part-time applicants may be considered.
Consideration spans Wagner degree routes and areas of interest, including current NYU students in bachelor’s-to-master’s programs, master’s applicants, and PhD applicants.
The scholarship page publishes no separate nationality, residency, age, or gender requirement.
Selection is based on merit, fit with the scholarship, and the strength of the admission application.
