The 2026 Photography 4 Humanity × Fotografiska Global Prize invited emerging photographers worldwide to interpret HOME through personal, documentary, or conceptual images. Photography 4 Humanity and Fotografiska presented the call with UN Human Rights as a partner.
The call was submitted online, while selected photographs are scheduled for an approximately six-week exhibition at United Nations Headquarters in New York. The 2026 application window is closed.
Benefits & funding
- The Fotografiska Emerging platform is provided free of charge.
- The Global Prize recipient, top 10 finalists, and 20 honorable mentions are scheduled to have their photographs exhibited at United Nations Headquarters beginning on 10 December 2026.
- Selected work is also planned for sharing through UN.org, Fotografiska, and Photography 4 Humanity.

Eligibility
- The call invited emerging photographers from every region of the world.
- Applicants need to be at least 18 years old because only adults may register on the submission platform.
- No nationality, residency, gender, degree, or stated experience restriction was published for the call.
- Submitted photographs need to explore safety, belonging, dignity, identity, or place through a personal, documentary, or conceptual perspective.
- Applicants need to hold the rights required for photographs they upload, including relevant publication rights for depicted people, objects, or trademarks.
