The Filmmaking & Media Production Exploration Academy is a pre-college summer program run by Champlain College on its campus in Burlington, Vermont.
Over two weeks, students try the many jobs behind film, TV and streaming work, shoot with professional camera, sound and lighting kit, learn Final Draft and Premiere Pro, and leave with a portfolio piece. Champlain filmmaking professors teach it.
