Oxford University College – Burma Graduate Scholarship

Benefits & funding

• The scholarship pays the full course fees and provides a grant toward living costs.
• Funding continues for the full period during which the recipient is liable for fees on the agreed course.
• One full scholarship is available, and the recipient must hold it at University College.

Eligibility

• Applicants must either be Myanmar nationals or have been born in Myanmar.
• Applicants must seek admission to a full-time graduate course in a subject accepted by University College.
• Master of Public Policy applicants receive preference; the MPP normally requires a first-class or strong upper second-class undergraduate degree, or an equivalent qualification.
• No age, gender, residency, or professional-experience requirement is stated for the scholarship.
• The award is tenable only at University College, but applicants are considered regardless of the college preference stated in their graduate application.

Application process

   Select an eligible full-time Oxford graduate course and confirm that University College accepts it.

   Submit the Oxford graduate course application by the funding deadline for that course; for the highlighted MPP route, the most recent closed-cycle deadline was 2 December 2025.

   No separate scholarship application is required; eligible applicants are considered automatically.

   A successful recipient who named another college preference will transfer to University College to take up the award.
