The Oxford University College – Burma Graduate Scholarship funds one student on a full-time graduate course at the University of Oxford. The University and a group of donors to University College fund it jointly, and the award is held at University College.
Any full-time course in a subject University College accepts can qualify, but applicants to the Blavatnik School’s Master of Public Policy (MPP) get preference. There is no separate scholarship form.

- Paid for the whole period you are liable for fees on the agreed course.
- One award; it must be held at University College.
Eligibility
- Myanmar (Burma) nationals, or people born in Myanmar.
- Applying to a full-time Oxford graduate course in a subject University College accepts; MPP applicants are preferred.
- MPP route: a first-class or strong upper-second undergraduate degree is usually expected; no set work experience is required, though most admitted students have a year or two.
- Considered whatever college you name; a winner transfers to University College.
Application process
- 1Apply to an eligible full-time course through Oxford’s graduate application by that course’s funding deadline; for the MPP (2027–28 entry), 2 December 2026.
- 2The MPP application needs three references.
- 3No separate scholarship application: eligible applicants are considered automatically.
