Sabancı University’s Scholarship Committee awards this needs-based cash scholarship to its own enrolled undergraduates in Istanbul. It helps students in financial need meet living costs while they continue their degree.
Applications open twice a year, at the end of the Spring term and the start of the Fall term. Support lasts one academic year; students still in need must reapply each year.
Benefits & funding
- Monthly cash payments for up to nine months, non-repayable; the 2024 notice set October to June.

- Valid only for the academic year it is awarded.
- A student who withdraws or is dismissed (for example for academic failure or discipline) must repay the scholarship within one month of leaving.
Eligibility
- Turkish citizens only.
- Registered full-time in a Sabancı University undergraduate degree program.
- Demonstrated financial need, backed by family income, property and vehicle records.
- For the Fall cycle: course registration done and, where applicable, Fall tuition paid.
Application process

- 2Upload the household financial documents in the Student Information System and submit the application within the window; documents must be in English or Turkish, or translated into English by a certified office.
