Politecnico di Milano awards these scholarships to international applicants entering the first year of an English-taught Master of Science programme. The 2026–27 call covered 64 awards across Milan, Cremona, Lecco, Mantua and Piacenza.

All tiers waive tuition for the assigned academic year, while Platinum, Gold and Bronze tiers also pay a gross allowance. The latest application cycle is closed, and the university has not yet published the 2027–28 call.

Benefits & funding

  • All 64 awards waive tuition fees for the academic year; recipients pay an administrative fee of approximately €170.
  • Milan offers 10 Platinum awards of €10,000 gross and 18 Gold awards of €8,000 gross.
  • Piacenza offers 16 Gold awards of €5,000 gross and 10 Bronze awards of €2,500 gross.
  • Ten Silver awards across Cremona, Lecco, Mantua and Piacenza provide the tuition waiver without an additional allowance.
  • Awards may be renewed for 2027–28 if recipients remain in the same MSc and reach 1,000 grade-times-ECTS points for Platinum or 700 for other tiers by 10 August 2027.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be international students seeking first-year entry to an English-taught Polimi Master of Science programme in the first semester.
  • For Milan Platinum and Gold awards, applicants may apply to an eligible English-taught MSc at Milano Leonardo or Milano Bovisa.
  • Piacenza Gold is limited to Sustainable Architecture and Landscape Design or Energy Engineering in the Renewables and Environmental Sustainability track; Piacenza Bronze is limited to Mechanical Engineering in the Mechatronics for Manufacturing track.
  • Silver awards cover eligible English-taught MSc programmes at Cremona, Lecco, Mantua or Piacenza.
  • Candidates had to submit and pay for an Early Bird MSc admission application between 1 October and 1 December 2025, then submit the separate scholarship form by noon Italian time on 15 December 2025.
  • Admission, acceptance of the positive evaluation and a valid English-language certificate submitted by 21 February 2026 were required for award consideration.

Application process

    Use Polimi Online Services and follow Benefits and Agreements > Economic benefits > Scholarships for International Master of Science Students a.y. 2026-2027.
