Lithuanian Brain Bee — Course / Training

Lithuanian Brain Bee is Lithuania’s national neuroscience competition for school students. The Lithuanian Neuroscience Association runs the national program within the International Brain Bee network.

Eligible students first complete an online selection round in English, and selected competitors advance to the national stage. The national winner becomes Lithuania’s representative at the IBB World Championship. The 2026 national cycle has finished, and the next registration dates are not yet published on the accessible official pages.

Benefits & funding

The national winner qualifies to represent Lithuania at the IBB World Championship.
The reviewed public pages do not publish a Lithuanian stipend, grant, or entry fee; the opportunity is therefore classified as free rather than as a funded award.
At the IBB World Championship, every competitor receives a certificate, while the top three receive USD 3,000, USD 2,000, and USD 1,000 respectively.

Eligibility

Applicants must be 13–18 years old.
Applicants must live in Lithuania; Lithuanian nationality is not stated as a requirement.
Applicants must be school students and able to compete fluently in English.
The competition itself is conducted in English.
