The Latvian state scholarship for summer schools lets students and academic or research staff of foreign universities attend a summer school at a Latvian higher education institution. The State Education Development Agency (VIAA) administers it for the Ministry of Education and Science.
For 2026 VIAA listed six schools, covering intangible heritage, spatial design, drones, photonics, Latvian language and jewellery, held in Riga, Daugavpils, Subate, Valmiera and Kuldiga between late June and late August.
