The IUP Summer Intensive Program is an eight-week Mandarin course run by the Inter-University Program for Chinese Language Studies (IUP) at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Most classes have three students per teacher, plus one-on-one tutorials: about 160 class hours in all.
Students pledge to use only Chinese at the center and in program activities. An online summer track follows the same curriculum and class hours.
