The KTH One-Year Scholarship supports current KTH master’s students entering the second year of a two-year programme. KTH Royal Institute of Technology awards it on the basis of grades earned in first-year KTH courses.
The scholarship applies across eligible KTH master’s fields but excludes joint master’s and EIT programmes. The 2026 application cycle is closed, and KTH has not published an exact opening date for the next cycle.
Benefits & funding
- Covers the tuition fee for the second year of a two-year KTH master’s programme.
- Does not cover living costs.
Eligibility
- Be a current, fee-paying KTH master’s student.
- Have satisfactory grades to progress to the second year.
- Be enrolled in an eligible two-year programme; joint master’s and EIT programmes are excluded.
- KTH states no separate nationality, residence, age, gender, or work-experience requirement.
