Eligibility
- Citizenship in a KOICA Scholarship Program target country is required; KOICA changes the designated list by cycle and directs applicants to confirm it with the relevant KOICA country office or Korean embassy.
- Official nomination by the applicant’s government is required.
- Applicants must be government employees, researchers at government or government-funded institutes, or professionals at other relevant institutions connected to agricultural economics.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent university-level qualification is required.
- Applicants must have sufficient spoken and written English for English-taught classes and academic writing.
- Applicants must meet the program’s health requirements and the restrictions concerning prior KOICA or Korean-government degree scholarships.
- KOICA states a preference for applicants under 40; this is not a hard age limit.
