The Kenya National Brain Bee is Kenya’s national route into the International Brain Bee, a neuroscience competition for high-school students. The Kenya chapter is independently organized, with Mohamed Onyango listed as its coordinator.
The national winner qualifies to represent Kenya at the IBB World Championship. Kenya sent Valerie Angwenyi to the 2024 World Championship, but the official countries page states that Kenya will not host a competition in 2026.

Eligibility
- Applicants follow the Brain Bee in their country of residence, so the Kenya route is for students residing in Kenya.
- The IBB describes Brain Bee participants as high-school students.
- National champions must be no older than 19 to enter the World Championship, but Kenya-specific application age limits are not published.
- A student may enter only one Local or National Brain Bee in a year and may not also enter the IYNA Virtual Brain Bee.
