Iraq Brain Bee — Course / Training

Iraq Brain Bee is a national neuroscience competition for school students in Iraq. Iraq Brain Bee organizes it with medical oversight, and the University of Kufa Faculty of Medicine hosts the in-person event in Najaf.

Students progress from local rounds to a national round, whose champion represents Iraq at the International Brain Bee World Championship. The 2026 event was scheduled for August 24 and reached full registration capacity; the next cycle has not been announced.

Eligibility

Open to school students living in Iraq, regardless of school type or curriculum.
Applicants must be 13–19 years old.
The curriculum and examination are entirely in English, so applicants need sufficient English proficiency.
