InteRussia is a short-term academic fellowship organised by MGIMO University together with the Mezhdunarodniki Association and the Gorchakov Fund for Public Diplomacy. Non-Russian specialists in international relations spend roughly six weeks in Moscow, working in English on their own research within a set annual theme and producing a written research project. The programme runs twice a year (a spring track around March–April and an autumn track around October–December). For the autumn 2026 track the research theme is “The World Divided? The Current Trends in Military-Political Alignment and Economic Integration.”

Eligibility
- Non-Russian citizen, residing outside Russia
- Aged 25 to 39
- English proficiency at C1 level or above
- Hold a Ph.D., be currently pursuing a Ph.D., or have at least 3 years of working experience at academic institutions or think tanks
- No prior affiliation with MGIMO University
- A research proposal in English (the deliverable is a 15,000–25,000-character research project)
