Özyeğin University offers three internship places on a mixed-methods study supervised by Dr. Aybike Mergen. Interns work online and on campus in Istanbul to examine leadership and followership prototypes among young adults in Turkey.
The work covers literature review, survey preparation, participant recruitment, surveys and interviews, preliminary analysis, qualitative coding, and research writing. The project page describes the internship as two months or eight weeks, but lists flexible nominal dates of July 15 to August 15; it may continue in the fall as an independent study.

- Familiarity with survey research, or willingness to learn it, is required; interest in qualitative interviewing is an advantage.
- Undergraduate students studying outside Turkey may apply, so no nationality restriction is stated.
