IGLYO’s fourth Grants Programme funded local and national projects led by its member organisations. The 2026 call supported work on LGBTQI youth rights, stakeholder awareness, movement resilience, and local community services.
Recipients implemented projects in their own contexts from April to December 2026, without a relocation requirement. IGLYO also provided technical support and a coordinator seminar on project and grant management. The 2026 cycle is closed; IGLYO describes the programme as annual.
Benefits & funding
- Each proposed project could request €3,000–€15,000; the total 2026 programme budget was €60,000.
- IGLYO planned to support approximately 10 projects at the call stage and ultimately selected six.
- If IGLYO reduced an approved budget, it would revise the project plan with the grantee so that the grantee did not need to provide co-funding.
- Grantees received support in project and financial management, administration, organisational development, communications, campaigning, research, policy, and advocacy.
- Project coordinators were expected to join a seminar in April–May 2026, with ongoing support throughout implementation.
Eligibility
- The applicant had to be a ratified IGLYO Member Organisation; Board pre-approval without General Assembly ratification was insufficient.
- It had to be a private, non-profit legal entity established in an EU Member State, including eligible overseas countries and territories, and active locally, regionally, or nationally; EU-wide networks and umbrella organisations were excluded.
- Eligible registration countries in the application form were Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.
- The organisation needed an organisational bank account, a project coordinator able to communicate with IGLYO in English, and a commitment to pay all membership dues before signing a grant agreement. It also had to respect EU values.
- No individual nationality, degree, age, gender, or work-experience requirement was stated because organisations, not individuals, applied.
- Projects involving children had to provide a safeguarding policy and meet the stated safeguarding standards.
