Benefits & funding

• IGLYO covered accommodation in shared rooms, meals, visa costs, and eligible travel expenses.
• Travel reimbursement was capped at €300 for EU participants and €350 for non-EU participants; visa costs were reimbursed in full.
• The participation fee was €50. Selected participants could request a fee waiver or ask IGLYO to book travel, subject to individual review and available budget.
• A limited number of single rooms were available for accessibility needs.
• Participants received practical training, peer and expert feedback, networking with more than 20 young activists, and an optional local social programme.

Eligibility

• Applicants had to be young queer activists aged 18–30 on the application date and at the beginning of their activist journeys.
• Applicants had to be based in Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Republic of Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Russia, Belarus, or Kosovo. This was a residence gate, not a nationality restriction.
• Intermediate-to-advanced English was required for presentations and discussions.
• IGLYO Member Organisation applicants received priority if demand was high, but membership was not required.
• Applications from underrepresented groups and communities were particularly welcomed; this was a preference, not an eligibility gate.
• No education level or stated minimum number of years of experience was required.

Application process

   Read the full official call and confirm the age, residence, language, and activist-profile requirements.

   Prepare a personal account of relevant activist experience, motivation, learning goals, and interest in the programme.

   Submit the individual application through IGLYO’s linked SurveyMonkey form by 12 April 2026 at 23:59 CEST. The 2026 application round is closed.

   Await IGLYO’s selection notice after the deadline.
