The ICMM Young Leaders Scholarship fully funds a cohort of young changemakers to attend the annual One Young World Summit. It is run by the International Council on Mining and Metals (ICMM) — a global body of mining and metals companies working on responsible production — in partnership with One Young World, the London-based nonprofit that convenes young leaders from 190+ countries. The 2026 Summit takes place in Cape Town, South Africa. The scholarship targets people driving change on the issues ICMM cares about — biodiversity, climate, responsible resource use and community wellbeing — and pairs summit access with a direct exchange with ICMM's CEO and entry into One Young World's global ambassador network.

Eligibility
- Age 18–35 at the time of the Summit; applicants over 35 may be considered where they show strong personal impact, initiative and willingness to engage
- Demonstrated impact in at least one of: biodiversity conservation, decarbonisation, responsible natural resource production, social performance, or sustainability communication
- Willingness to engage with fellow scholarship recipients
- No nationality, degree or language restriction stated — open globally
