The Hungarian Brain Bee is the national neuroscience competition for secondary-school students. The University of Pécs Centre for Neuroscience and the Hungarian Neuroscience Society support the national program, with university partners involved in delivery.
The 2026 competition used an online written round followed by an in-person oral final in Debrecen. Its winner advanced to represent Hungary at the International Brain Bee World Championship. The next application window has not been published.
