Benefits & funding

• Participants pay their own way. Registration is US$289 per delegate, US$209 per observer and US$189 per faculty advisor; card payment adds a 7% mymun transaction fee (US$310.75 for a delegate), other payment methods add 5%.
• Registration covers a country assignment for every delegate, access to all simulations for observers, all social events and all conference materials.
• Preparation is included: pre-conference webinars on topic research, position-paper writing and simulation procedure, delegate handbooks, and on-site training sessions.
• Every committee opens with a briefing from UN staff or an expert working in the field.
• Application Excellence Scholarship: registration-fee waivers for nine people — one full waiver, three at 50% and five at 30%. Travel and accommodation are not covered.
• Participants booked into the conference hotels receive 20% off their registration fees, and booking longer adds further savings — 5% at six nights, 10% at seven, 15% at eight or more.
• The accommodation page lists a five-night conference package at US$2,499, checking in 11 February and out 16 February, in rooms with two beds that sleep up to four, with hotel and city fees included; larger delegations may need more than one package.
• Group delegations of two or more students get priority in country allocation and are eligible for delegation awards at the closing ceremony.

Eligibility

• Aged 14 to 30 at the time of the conference
• Enrolled in high school or university, attending graduate school, or a recent graduate under 30
• Open to applicants of any nationality; past editions have drawn students from six continents and more than 100 UN Member States
• Underage individual delegates must be accompanied by a chaperone, and high school delegates require an accompanying chaperone
• Register either as an individual delegate or observer, or as a group delegation of two or more students with a faculty advisor
• Places are first come, first served; once capacity is reached, further registrations go to a waitlist
• Participants are responsible for their own US visa

Application process

   Choose a registration type — group delegation of two or more students with a faculty advisor, individual delegate, or observer.

   Register through the conference’s mymun page inside one of the three windows: early (15 June – 31 August 2026), priority (31 August – 31 October 2026) or regular (31 October – 5 December 2026).

   Pay the full amount by the deadline for the chosen window. All fees are non-refundable.

   For the Application Excellence Scholarship, register and pay in full during early registration, then submit three short answers of 100–200 words each and a faculty advisor’s recommendation letter through the scholarship form by 31 August 2026.

   Arrange travel documents independently. The program page links a Letter of Invitation request form, issued after registration and a background check; the terms state that WFUNA does not provide visa letters, takes no responsibility for a participant’s US visa, and issues no refund to delegates who cannot secure one.

   Prepare using the pre-conference webinars and the delegate handbook before arriving on 11 February 2027.
