The Fulbright Singapore Student Program is a U.S. Government-sponsored graduate study grant administered through U.S. Embassy Singapore. It supports eligible Singapore citizens or permanent residents who pursue a master’s degree at a U.S. institution.
The exchange is intended to strengthen mutual understanding and ties between Singapore and the United States. The 2027–2028 application cycle has closed.

Eligibility
- Be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident and be pursuing a master’s degree in the United States.
- Reside in the nominating country when applying.
- Hold the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree with a good academic record by the program start.
- Demonstrate English proficiency; the wider program recommends at least 550 on paper-based TOEFL, 79–80 on internet-based TOEFL, or 6.5 overall on IELTS.
- Not hold U.S. citizenship; dual U.S. citizens are not eligible.
- Programs with clinical requirements, including dentistry, medicine, pharmacy, and nursing, are not eligible under the wider program rules.
